Cool. I got called out on BC. My ego just inflated 2psi. There’s a lot to love here; haunting lyrics that chant as much as sing, playing with the cadence of the driving rhythms, lending an almost holy gravity to the sound. An East meets West instrumentation fused with a post-punk freneticism makes this a truly world affair. It took me time to decide to buy (yes I paid), as the repetitive nature of the rhythms pull heavily from EBM, which I generally steer away from.
